This independent coffeeshop project made it’s debut in early 2020 and features a unique design nestled in the heart of the NOMA neighborhood of DC. Sweet Science Coffee is well-known for its unique specialty brewing techniques and steampunk style approach to coffee. We’ve branded this style into every last detail include custom designed wallpaper, wall piping design and custom concrete bars with caffeine molecule stamps sprinkled throughout the space.

The owner came to us with a vision and we spent a year and half bringing this vision to life! PLACES studio was responsible for realizing this concept through interior design, permitting, full-construction build-out, graphic and product design.
