Interior Design Project Manager - Washington, DC
We are looking for an Interior Designer & Project Manager to manage the interior design execution of multiple client projects, both residential and commercial design. The role responsibility includes making sure the design meets budget, design and client needs. You will work directly with principal designer Chelsea Albright!

You’re able to stay organized. Managing multiple projects, designing in 3-dimensions, and balancing our biggest constraints - time, budget and feasibility is no easy feat and requires meticulous attention to detail and organization.

You are excited about designing with with our place-making concept and aesthetic as well as understanding our client’s deepest frustrations and needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Produce Design Drawings and Presentations.
Communicating design ideas in 2D drafted drawings, sourcing inspiration images, materials & specifying FF&E. Designing detailing custom furniture and millwork.Project Management.
Creating and overseeing clien’ts budget, design selections, ordering, and vendor quotes.On-site Project and Construction Oversight.
Field surveying and documenting spaces on project onset, reviewing site conditions throughout the project if needed, overseeing trades when work is being performed on-site. On-site work is located only in the greater Washington, DC metro area.

Must Have’s
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an interior designer and/or project manager or otherwise similar relevant experience
Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through ability
Thorough understanding and experience of designing projects through all phases
Construction administration experience
Prefer 1+ years of interior design project managing experience
Knowledge in architectural plans/specifications; proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Sketchup or similar modeling programs
Must be able and willing to travel to client installations locally in the greater Washington, DC Metro Area
Must have reliable transportation and a reasonable commute to Washington, DC

We’re looking for individuals who are interested in working with a remote design team however experience in our base city will be favored.
